EdICTs worked closely with HOK from conception to execution of the new School, and fulfilled their responsibilities professionally and thoroughly. Our role in included:
• Producing a design brief for the architects, HOK;
• Specifying the requirements of server & distribution rooms;
• Giving guidance on likely heat gains from ICT-related equipment in each area throughout the school;
• Producing ICT Functional Specification, outlining ICT requirements;
• Producing Technical Infrastructure Document, detailing the ICT infrastructure requirements;
• Attending & contributing to design team meetings;
• Responding to/Contributing to M&E designs for the new buildings;
• Outlining ICT equipment requirements for servers, active equipment and end user equipment;
• Entering into dialogue with Capital Partners for equipment procurement in Kazakhstan;
• Installing & commissioning all equipment.
